First Alliance Bank recruits Crawford to manage the new Oakland Office (4-24-2007)

Richard Crawford, John Luke and Candace Abrams (CLICK PHOTO FOR LARGER VIEW)First Alliance Bank has hired Richard L. Crawford, Jr., as vice president and manager of the new Oakland Office. The Oakland Office is a 4,000-square-foot full-service bank offering the latest in banking technology, a drive-up ATM and teller lanes, and extended banking hours, including Saturday from 9 a.m. to noon.

L. Hunt Campbell, president and chief executive officer for First Alliance Bank, says Crawford was the right choice to lead the grand opening of the third office. “As a resident of Oakland with a strong background in banking, Richard is well connected to this community and understands how to meet the needs of the rapid consumer and retail growth happening in Fayette County.”

Both Campbell and Crawford agree the new office is a sound investment into the rising Fayette County market. “Because of the increase of new homes in this area, First Alliance Bank already has an active construction loan presence in Oakland. Our new office offers state-of-the-art technology, personalized service and banking conveniences such as our extended Saturday hours to meet the needs of our customers.”

Crawford joins First Alliance Bank with experience in bank management, sales and customer satisfaction. He earned his bachelor’s in economics from University of Missouri-Columbia and plans to graduate in June 2007 from the Paul W. Barret, Jr., School of Banking

First Alliance Bank’s Oakland Office management staff also includes Candace L. Abrams, assistant branch manager, and John E. Luke, senior vice president of construction lending.
