Ribbon Cutting Ceremony for Oakland Office of First Alliance Bank (CLICK PHOTO FOR LARGER VIEW)At 10:00 am on Tuesday, May 15, First Alliance Bank celebrated a ribbon cutting ceremony to officially open the new Oakland office. The 4,000-square-foot newly constructed bank, located on the corner of Highway 64 and Bowers Road, became First Alliance Bank’s third location in the Greater Memphis area since 1999. Bank officials say they’ve had a long-distance relationship with Oakland and the Fayette County area for years and wanted to become closer to the community. “It was a natural extension for us to build a bank in Oakland. We’ve been doing a good business here for years and we are now a permanent part of this community,” explained First Alliance Bank President and CEO, Hunt Campbell.

Census figures have shown Oakland to be one of the fastest-growing cities in Tennessee and reports the increase of Oakland’s population has nearly doubled from 2000 to 2005. First Alliance Bank knows this rapid growth means opportunities to serve a larger construction and retail market. “We expect to build on our existing construction customer base and develop new business by offering state-of-the-art banking products that serve both the local business and personal banking needs of this community,” said Campbell.

Richard L. Crawford, Jr., vice president and manager of First Alliance Bank’s Oakland office, is a resident of Oakland and feels well connected to his communities’ banking needs. “First Alliance Bank knows how to take care of their customers. We enjoy working with local businesses and individuals who appreciate a bank that takes pride in delivering a high level of service with personal attention,” said Crawford. “Our Oakland office is designed to offer the latest in banking technology and convenience for the customer. The facility has drive-up ATM and teller lanes and extended banking hours which include Saturday from  9 a.m. to noon.”

First Alliance Bank is a locally owned state-chartered commercial bank with a primary focus on small business banking and real estate lending. The bank first opened in Cordova, Tennessee in 1999 with an innovative approach to building relationships with both businesses and individuals.
